01 / Overview

What this handover covers.

The 50th Jubilee has been a milestone worth celebrating, and we've loved being part of it. This pack walks you through each step of the handover so you're fully in control of both pages when we're done. Work through the tabs in order It won't take long.

⚠ Important: Read This First

Complete Step 1 before
removing our access.

Do not remove agency access until you have confirmed you can log in and manage both pages independently. Start with the "Your Access" tab and confirm everything is working on your end first. We can sort any issues out before we hand over the keys.

★ What We're Handing Over
Your pages, fully yours
  • Jubilee Facebook Page admin access
  • Jubilee Instagram account login details
  • Final monthly report with campaign results
  • Updated bios on both pages
★ Steps In This Pack
Five steps to complete
  • Step 1: Confirm your own access first
  • Step 2: Confirm Facebook Admin access
  • Step 3: Take over the Instagram account
  • Step 4: Final account tidy
  • Step 5: Wrap-up confirmation
02 / Step 1

Confirm your own access first.

Before we remove anything on our end, we need you to confirm you can see and manage both pages on your own. This protects you from getting locked out. Do this step before anything else.

✓ What to check

★ Not sure which account to use?

Just reach out
before you proceed.

Way easier to sort this out over a quick message now than to deal with access issues later. Once you're confident you can see and manage both pages independently, move on to Step 2.

03 / Step 2

Facebook page admin access.

We've already added your personal accounts as Admin on the Jubilee Facebook Page. All you need to do is confirm you can see it, and we'll remove our side of the access once you give us the thumbs up.

✓ What to do

How to check your Facebook Page access

  1. Log in to your personal Facebook account
  2. In the left-hand menu, look for Pages and click through
  3. You should see the Jubilee Page listed there
  4. Click into the page and confirm you can access Page Settings
  5. Once confirmed, flick us a message and we'll wrap up our access
04 / Step 3

Instagram take over.

We've already shared the Instagram login details with you. Once you're in, there are a few quick security steps to run through so the account is fully yours.

✓ What to do

How to update your password

  1. Log in to the Instagram account using the details we shared
  2. Tap your profile picture in the bottom right corner
  3. Go to Settings and Privacy
  4. Tap Accounts Centre, then Password and Security
  5. Choose Change Password and set a new one only you know

Recommended: Enable two-factor authentication

While you're in the security settings, it's worth switching on two-factor authentication. It adds an extra layer of protection so only you can access the account, even if someone else gets hold of the password.

  1. Go to Settings and Privacy → Accounts Centre → Password and Security
  2. Tap Two-Factor Authentication
  3. Choose your preferred method (text message or an authenticator app)
  4. Follow the prompts to complete setup
05 / Step 4

Final account tidy.

A few last things we've already taken care of on our end, plus a couple of decisions that are yours to make about what happens to the pages going forward.

✓ What we've already done

✓ A couple of things for you to decide

★ What are your options?

Keep them active
or archive them.

There's no wrong answer here. Keeping the pages active means you can keep sharing post-event photos and thank-yous. Archiving means the content is preserved but the pages are hidden from the public. We've outlined both options in detail in the After Handover section of the checklist. Either way, the thank-you post has been pinned to the top of both pages.

06 / Step 5

Wrap-up confirmation.

Almost there. Once you've confirmed your access to both pages, we'll send through a final handover email and tie off our end.

✓ What happens next

After Handover

Here's what your options look like depending on what you decide to do with the pages.

If you keep the pages active

  • You can continue using the pages to share post-event photos and thank-yous
  • The thank-you post has been pinned to the top of both pages
  • The Jubilee hashtags will continue to work for any remaining posts

If you want to archive the pages

  • Facebook lets you unpublish a Page without deleting it, keeping it accessible to you but hidden from the public
  • Instagram accounts can be set to private if you'd prefer not to delete them
  • Archiving is safer than deleting , content is preserved and pages can be reactivated if needed
